2010 United Soccer Schools Coaching Staff

Current and past Emmaus girls soccer standouts Taylor
Millheim (Class of 2012), Shannon Doughty (2011), Sarah Clark
(2007, currently playing at St. Bonaventure University), Alexa
Nisiotis (2010, Bloomsburg), Laura Ettinger (2008, Siena),
Molly McGeehin (2008, Pittsburgh), Erin Maurer (2011) and
Sarah Oswald (2007, West Chester), comprised the girls
coaching staff at the 2010 United Soccer Schools camp hosted
from July 5 through July 9 at Emmaus High School by head girls
soccer coach Rob Rooney and head boys soccer coach John Cari.
This year's camp drew more than 160 players.
2010 Emmaus Girls Soccer Banquet

The 2010 Emmaus varsity girls soccer team poses at its
annual banquet on Saturday, June 12. The Hornets won their 8th
consecutive Lehigh Valley Conference championship this season
in dramatic fashion, defeating Parkland in penalty kicks.
Three Hornets Named All-LVC

Three Emmaus players were honored prior to the LVC
championship game for their selection to the 2010
All-Conference team. From left: Senior forward Ali Brosky was
chosen for the third time; senior defender Kaity Dychala was a
second-time pick; and sophomore midfielder Taylor Millheim was
a second-time selection. Congratulations to all three girls
for their standout seasons.
Hornets Win 8th Straight LVC Title

The Emmaus girls soccer team poses with the 2010 Lehigh
Valley Conference championship trophy after winning its eighth
straight title on Wednesday night, May 12. The Hornets downed
Parkland in penalty kicks (5-3) at Bethelehm Area School
District's Frank Banko Field. The two teams were tied at one
goal apiece through regulation and two overtimes. Emmaus has
won every championship in the eight-year old league's history.

Morning Call All-Area Team Selections
Senior forward Ali Brosky, senior defender Kaity Dychala and sophomore midfielder Taylor Millheim were named to the Allentown Morning Call All-Area First Team. Brosky was selected for the third time, Dychala for the second and 2010 is Millheim's first time chosen. All three were named to the All-LVC team, as well.

Hochleitner & Millheim Chosen As Captains
Senior-to-be Kelsey Hochleitner and junior-to-be Taylor Millheim were chosen as the Hornets' off-season team captains for 2010/2011. Hochleitner is a three-year varsity player who has started 74 straight games and has 25 goals and 38 assists in her career. Millheim is a two-time All Lehigh Valley Conference player who brings 20 goals and 17 assists into her junior year. Like Hochleitner, she has started every game of her varsity career - all 49 of them. Congratulations to both players.
