The 2010 Hornets showed some promise in their scrimmages this week.  The Hornets fell 2-1 to CB East.  Evan Sosnow scored for Emmaus.  In their annual scrimmage fest, the Hornets finished the day 1-0-1.  In the early game, Emmaus came back from 2-0 to time 2009 State Champions Central Dauphin.  Patrick Groh and AJ Bishop scored for the Hornets.  In the late game, Emmaus won 4-2 against Pleasant Valley.  Maxwell Fransworth had two, while Patrick Groh and Sam Lemelman helped in the Hornets victory.  Emmaus opens up their season in the CV Cup against host Cumberland Valley on Friday, September 3rd.
